"Journeyman" is J. Scribe’s long awaited follow up to his 2007 release, "New Day Crusade" and the first production by James Murphy of Milwaukee, WI. Backed by a musical atmosphere blending hip-hop, jazz, and world music J-Scribe tells his story with an intriguing fusion of rap and poetry. Journeyman has an organic sensibility flowing easily from critiques of socio-political establishment to wanton musings of a traveler in love with the road.
Playing out like a movie, Journeyman ties together themes in a broad tapestry of sound transporting the listener to an exotic environment while maintaining the familiarity of having been before.
